Roxx Records and Testimony of Apocalypse are thrilled to unveil their devastating new single, Lost to the Flame (Agony in the Garden III), the final track to be released before the band's highly anticipated album, Agony in the Garden, due out later in 2025. The single will be available everywhere on digital and streaming sites on Friday, March 14, 2025.

Originally slated to ignite metalheads by late spring, this beast of an album had other ideas—unforeseen delays in recording and production have nudged the chaos into a later 2025 release. But rest easy, friends; the apocalypse is still firmly on schedule.

"Lost to the Flame" doesn't just close the curtain on the pre-release singles; it kicks down the door, offering a scorching preview of the musical carnage ahead. Featuring an intricate web of extreme metal artistry—riffs that could carve through bone, rhythms tight enough to fracture concrete, and a vocal delivery that'll scrape the marrow from your bones—this track is a towering showcase of Testimony of Apocalypse's capacity for pushing genre boundaries.

Guitarist Nick Pacitti reveals the ambitious vision behind the writing: "Having Derek Corzine as our full-time vocalist, I knew we could push the extremes—diving into the most brutal speed and sludge styles while also effortlessly shifting to melodic moments and everything in between. With Derek’s bass adding another layer, I kept that in mind throughout the writing process, allowing room for accent and special moments for the bass to shine through. We were already bending and blending genres on The Offering, but I think we’ve taken it even further on this album."

The track careens beautifully between brutal technicality and soaring melody, with Derek Corzine's vocals delivering an unrelenting force—seamlessly shifting from deep guttural ferocity to searing highs that cut through the mix like a blade. Drummer Paul Graham masterfully steers the intensity, and Nick Pacitti constructs tension with relentless riffs before erupting into groove-laden bridges and crushing choruses. And just when you think you’ve been thrown clear of the wreckage, Cameron Nealy unleashes one of his most inspired solos yet, a blistering run that rockets the song into the stratosphere.

Inspired by contemplations of the Garden of Gethsemane—Jesus’s profound moment of agony and choice—Agony in the Garden isn’t just metal; it's a meditation on sacrifice, rebellion, and resolve. The lyrics of "Lost to the Flame" vividly paint Lucifer's fall, a cautionary tale told through bone-rattling riffs and soul-searing intensity:

"Creation's dawn, where the light once gleamed, A radiant angel in glory had schemed... His kingdom in ashes Lost to the flame."

The official lyric video for "Lost to the Flame" will debut exclusively on Roxx Records’ YouTube channel. Be sure to subscribe and stay tuned—it's not something you'll want to miss. More updates are imminent as we approach the cataclysmic release of Agony in the Garden.
