Get ready to throttle up, Shovelhead A.D. is set to drop their brand-new EP No Cover Charge on Halloween, and it’s pure gasoline-soaked fury from start to finish.
The five-song cover album serves as a sonic statement from a fully formed lineup hungry to bring their unfiltered sound to tape. The band shares:
“We recorded and somewhat produced this EP because we wanted to get our new fully formed sound on tape, and to have release recordings of all four of us to share with our friends and fans. In doing so, we sought to pay homage to some of our favorite classic songs by chewing them up and spitting them out… A.D.-style. Nasty, mean, and pissed off. DIY recording, mixing, and music production for the EP thanks to Chuck. Completed in-house with real drums, real amps, and a ton of attitude.” - Shovelhead A.D.
Executive production comes via Broken Curfew Records, a label known for its uncompromising dedication to heavy, extreme, and experimental music.
Here’s the tracklist for No Cover Charge:
Call Me the Breeze
Hole in the Sky
Foxy Lady
God of Thunder
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Buckle up—Shovelhead A.D. is roaring into Halloween with something loud, raw, and unapologetically real.
