NoLifeTilMetal Records is kicking off 2026 with a chainsaw roar as HarXson drop their debut, Can’t Kill Us, on January 30, 2026. If the world’s full of evil, HarXson showed up to bury it under riffs.
After nearly two decades tearing stages apart with thrash legends HIRAX, brothers Lance and Steve Harrison are back with a vengeance—this time reforged as a San Diego power-trio with a razor-sharp classic thrash attack. Joining them is fellow HIRAX alumni Mike Vega on drums, locking the band into that unmistakable, high-octane assault.
“It was time to bust out,” says bassist/vocalist Steve Harrison. “We had so many songs burning in our heads and dark-hearts. There was no better time than right now.”And honestly? You can hear that urgency carved into every track.
Can’t Kill Us pulls in some heavy thrash royalty behind the scenes. The entire album—seven songs of pure fight-mode energy—was produced, mixed, and mastered by Bill Metoyer, the man behind Slayer’s early classics and an absolutely stacked list of metal milestones (Armored Saint, C.O.C., Deliverance, Sacred Reich, Hirax, Trouble, and more).
The visuals hit just as hard. The cover art comes from none other than Ed Repka, the legendary illustrator responsible for Megadeth’s “Vic Rattlehead,” Death’s first three album covers, Dark Angel, Vio-Lence, and modern thrash staples like Municipal Waste and Toxic Holocaust. Layout duties are handled by Scott Waters of NoLifeTilMetal Graphics, whose fingerprints are on hundreds of metal releases.
Collectors, pay attention:
Vinyl is limited to 200 copies—140-gram opaque orange with a full photo/lyric insert.
CD comes in a jewel case with a complete color booklet.
Musically, HarXson isn’t playing coy. This is straight-up, steel-toothed thrash built for fans of Slayer, Exodus, S.O.D., Motörhead, and of course the band’s own legacy with HIRAX. It’s fast, loud, and ready to run you over.
