MetalCrawlspace.com, Georgian funeral doom collective Ennui have announced the release of their new full-length album Qroba, arriving February 27 through Meuse Music Records. Formed in Tbilisi in 2012, the band has earned international recognition for their slow, crushing sound and deeply reflective approach to themes of existence, death, and human fragility.

Qroba is described by the band as a fading of presence, a moment when light withdraws and something colder takes its place. The album spans five expansive tracks, blending monumental funeral doom with haunting melodic passages and subtle use of traditional Georgian instrumentation, including the panduri. Mixed and mastered by Greg Chandler of Esoteric, the record delivers a dense, immersive sonic experience that emphasizes atmosphere, weight, and emotional gravity. With artwork by Ben J “Winterkeep” of Ofnus, Qroba stands as one of Ennui’s most focused and powerful statements to date.
