Maine’s own metalcore survivors In The Kingdom Of Nightmares are back, and they're diving deeper into the abyss than ever before.
Their new full-length album Fading Light drops May 30th, 2025 via Alien Swarm Records, marking their first LP since 2010’s From Darkness To Despair. It’s been a long road, but the wait sounds more than worth it.
Teaming once again with producer Evan Sammons (Kaonashi, Last Chance to Reason, and an engineer under Mark Lewis for heavyweights like Dying Fetus and Killswitch Engage), Fading Light finds ITKON evolving into darker, more melodic death metal territory without abandoning their metalcore roots. If you’ve been following their last three EPs (Requiem, Night Terrors, Decay/Rebirth), you already know these guys have been sharpening their blades for this moment.

Lyrically, Fading Light plunges into the complicated stages of grief, with each track offering its own chapter in the emotional fallout. Also included is a newly recorded version of The Assassin, a fan favorite resurrected from their 2008 debut EP As Daylight Turns to Dusk.
The first single "Seasons" is already out now on all major streaming platforms, and it hits like a bitter wind cutting through whatever's left of your heart.
Fading Light will be available digitally worldwide and on limited edition vinyl via Elastic Stage. Pre-orders and vinyl details are live now. https://elasticstage.com/inthekingdomofnightmares
