“World in Collapse” Makes Its U.S. Debut This November

Brazilian thrash metal has a long tradition of raw power and unfiltered truth-tellin, and AFFRONT embodies both to the bone.

Formed in 2016 in a favela in Rio de Janeiro by M. Mictian (vocals/bass), alongside R. Rassan (guitar) and Jedy Najay (drums), AFFRONT quickly became one of South America’s fiercest underground exports. Their sound is pure Brazilian thrash — fast, aggressive, politically charged, and unapologetically real.

Now, Broken Curfew Records has officially welcomed AFFRONT to their roster, bringing the band’s 2019 release World in Collapse to the U.S. for the first time ever on physical CD. The record drops this November on physical CD and Bandcamp, with streaming already available.

AFFRONT first made waves with Angry Voices (2016), a debut fueled by outrage and blistering energy. World in Collapse sharpened that rage into precision, a furious commentary on humanity’s decay set against relentless riffs and punishing rhythms.

Broken Curfew Records will also handle the band’s upcoming new full-length release, set to hit physical, digital, and streaming platforms soon.

If you’ve been craving the kind of thrash that bleeds integrity and fury, look no further. AFFRONT are the real deal, and the world’s about to find out.

Coming this November — AFFRONT’s World in Collapse on CD via Broken Curfew Records.
