The Metal Crawlspace -
Extreme metal and experimental music label Broken Curfew Records has signed a new throwback thrash/grind band, 'Mental Cancer'. The band is influenced by the early days of punk-inspired grind and thrash and brings back the forgotten sounds and style that defined the genre.
Mental Cancer's lyrical content covers everything from social events to faith and everyday life. Their major influences include Septic Death, Napalm Death, Spazz, Capitalist Casualties, and Slayer. The band's name is inspired by the Septic Death track "Mental Cancer."
"We're excited to welcome hard-hitting thrashers Mental Cancer to the Broken Curfew Records family," said Seth Metoyer, Owner of the label. "Their passion and dedication to their craft are evident in their music. We're proud to support them and help bring their unique sound to a wider audience."
Mental Cancer's first single, "Embodiment of Heresy" will be released on Bandcamp, Spotify, and other streaming sites on April 11th. The band is excited to share their music with fans and hopes to connect with listeners who appreciate their throwback style.
Pre-Save "Embodiment of Heresey" on Spotify and bookmark the Broken Curfew Records Bandcamp page for this and more exciting music you won't want to miss!
"If you hate what you hear, we love what we do," said Mental Cancer.
