Abplanalp, who has been writing music since the age of 11, grew up immersed in the world of metal, making it a central pillar of his life. When asked about the project, Abplanalp shared, "I have been writing music since I was about 11 and I grew up around heavy metal my whole life, so my young life pretty much revolved around metal and writing metal. I had no specific reason for starting my project other than to write and record my music and have as many people out there enjoy it like I do. I can't really explain why I enjoy making music so much, but I am on the autism spectrum, so it might be an autistic obsession or something."
